Funeral arrangements have been announced for a man whose life left a lasting impact across Casey County.

Gerald “Jerry” Tucker of southern Casey County passed away Tuesday. Tucker was the founder of the Galilean Christian Home, a ministry he began in 1969 alongside his wife, Sandy, serving hundreds of children and families over the years.

Visitation will be held Sunday, May 3rd at the Galilean Children’s Home on South Fork Church Road. Family visitation is from 1 to 3 p.m. Eastern, with public visitation from 3 to 9 p.m.

Additional visitation will take place Monday morning from 8 until 11, followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. eastern at the Galilean Children’s Home. Burial will be private.
